This course introduces fertility and reproductive health in LGBTQ+ populations, covering the effects of gender-affirming care, options for fertility preservation, assisted and third-party reproduction, and contraceptive needs across diverse identities

1. Describe how gender-affirming medical and surgical interventions may impact fertility in transgender and gender-diverse individuals.

2. Identify fertility preservation options available to LGBTQ+ people prior to and during gender-affirming care.

3. Discuss various medically assisted and third-party reproductive options available to LGBTQ+ individuals and couples.

4. Differentiate contraceptive needs and options for individuals across diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, including transmasculine and transfeminine patients.
