At the end of the course, participants should be able to understand 

1. Basic lipid and lipoprotein structure and function 

2. Classification and causes of dyslipidemia

3. The technique for lipid measurement, how to interpret and practical error in lipid measurement 

4. How to recognize and give diagnosis to common inherited lipoprotein disorders such as Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) and some other lipoprotein disorders
