One Health Concept and Knowledge : Policy, Advocacy and Regulation: AMR as a model
At the end of the course, participants should be able to
1.Strengthen the Integration of One Health into AMR Policies: Utilize a One Health approach to create integrated strategies that address AMR across human health, animal health, and environmental sectors.
2.Develop and Monitor Evidence-Informed Policies: Formulate AMR policies based on robust health policy and systems research, ensuring they are informed by accurate data and international best practices.
3.Promote Multisectoral Collaboration: Foster cooperation between various stakeholders, including government sectors, healthcare professionals, and international organizations, to implement AMR strategies effectively.
4.Enhance Public Awareness and Education: Increase public and professional awareness of AMR through targeted communication strategies and educational programs that encourage responsible antimicrobial use and highlight the importance of infection prevention and control.
